Allied Telesis Holdings Launches Full-Scale Diversity Initiatives

■ Background and Purpose of Diversity Promotion

In a rapidly changing corporate environment, embracing diversity has become key to sustainable growth. As society advances towards creating equal opportunities for individuals, regardless of gender, age, nationality, or disabilities, corporations are expected to lead the way in promoting diversity.

To this end, Allied Telesis has positioned diversity promotion as a key management priority, aiming to enhance innovation and competitiveness by integrating diverse perspectives and values. The company has established the "Diversity Promotion Office" to create a workplace where all employees, regardless of background, can fully realize their potential.

The Diversity Promotion Office will prioritize cultivating an inclusive corporate culture where all employees respect one another's differences. It will also strive to build a workplace where individuals from varied backgrounds can thrive. Furthermore, the company will actively pursue fair hiring, development, and promotion practices that transcend gender, age, nationality, or disability. Our focus will remain on empowering every employee to realize their full potential through career support and skill development initiatives.

■ Promoting Women’s Empowerment

Currently, women represent approximately 30.6% of the workforce (*1), with women in management roles accounting for about 11.0% (*1). Although these figures fall short of the targets set by the Japanese government, the company is prioritizing women’s empowerment as part of its diversity promotion efforts. To further advance this initiative, Allied Telesis has launched the "WINGS" project.

WINGS stands for Women, Inspiring, Nurturing, Growth, and Success. This initiative is designed to ensure a supportive environment for employees returning to work after childbirth, foster networking among female employees, and enhance career development opportunities. Our goal is to create a workplace where every employee can confidently pursue their ambitions.

We remain committed to advancing measures that evolve our corporate culture and establish an environment that values diverse perspectives. By enhancing education and training programs, we aim to empower every employee to maximize their potential.

Through these initiatives, Allied Telesis will accelerate innovation and growth, working hand in hand with our employees to shape a sustainable future.
